Photos from locations I have been lucky enough to travel to in the past year. Moving to Europe and back, as well as two multi-week road trips, it has definitely been a year of travel.

I've chosen photos with human artifacts such as buildings or roads, in order to showcase the variety of ways humans choose to shape the world around them. I am inspired by the creative ways people around the world adapt to their environment, rather than destroying it.

From cozy winter cabins, to rustic coastal cottages. Mountain-top observatories, to dusty desert roads. Medieval German castles, to Dutch canal houses. Modern city centers, to Scandinavian coastal constructions. Dilapidated mill buildings, to graffiti covered alleyways. German-style half-timber houses, to gridlocked intersections.
